TV channel Velocity...tell me about it in SoCal.....

......I can't find it except the one in the 400's thatt's HD, and I don't get HD. Is there a non HD Velocity channel in SoCal? I hear it's got some better car shows than Speed. THX

 

Don't know about Southern Cal but up here in New Hampshire we only get it HD. Good programing though.

 

I think its HD only. until a few moths ago it was discovery HD theater, just changed to velocity in the last few months.

 

Yea it is also on Directv in HD only,channel 281

Chasing cl***ic cars is the best show I have seen on there...

I wound up upgrading my Verizon FIOS just so I could get Velocity. I too, was tired of the Speed Channel. I was tired of all the lame NASCAR shows, even during the off-season.

I like Velocity a lot.

 

That's a really cool show. The main character is a cool guy, and the stuff he finds is really impressive. He deals in mainly big-dollar cl***ics, but I'm a car guy, I like 'em all. Most of the time, I'm more interested in the story and the "chase" than I am in the actual car.
