AD vin

Helping a sick friend.Has AD 3100 vin on ***le is DBM319284.Think this is block serial #.Paper & truck came from VA.Need to know if i am correct.Thanks Jimmie King

 

DBM is the engine code for a 46 chevy truck

Some states ***led by engine number

My 50 is ***led by Door Post S/N. This is the number on the data plate attached to the drives door post. If the truck still has the data plate it can be run for info on the truck. If you have the door post number you can enter it in the link below.

This stuff can get tricky when dealing with DMV or when the engine is swapped and a VIN inspection is required
