Shut up Rob, sure they're different, like Coke and Pepsi, or REO Speedwagon and Journey.

Which ground floor car park are they gonna use? There's the lot out front that's open-air or is it the undercover part? Nah, they wouldn't go undercover, would they?

I just hope the *****s that threw the bottles are happy.

I'm just saying that these whiney phux are *****ing about a 20 Dollar Bill...the same amount you'd spend on two-three drinks at the bar. "We're driving a long way for this show...we don't want to have to break the bank with an extra $20!" The airlines are charging $5 for a sandwich now. If you're hungry, you pay...if not, you don't eat.

Oh, and thanks for having the ability to read Alex's original post 10 times.

Are you all done ****ing Axle's **** yet? Ok then, here's is our current main gripe, let the $20 car show entries park their cars as early as the big ticket holders. Our cars have always been there by Thursday. I repeat, it's not the $20 at this point. Honestly does anyone see any reason why the car show guys paying $20 can't park early too? And this one is 100% in Axle's hands. Why are yuou making the car-show-only guys wait until the last minute to get their cars in? What is the motivation...? ...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If you're too cool to attend the rest of the festival then why do you need to get there on Thursday for a show on Saturday? This aint the Grand National. Do you need the time to set up your spinning car display and all of the mirrors on the ground, and polish your chrome brake calipers?

Have fun with your anti-VLV show and quit whining.

I understand they want only bobbers as opposed to choppers

but why pre 1963, there are kick *** bobbers made out of shovel heads too.

the kids that built hot rods and bikes in the 50's and 60's would use whatever they could get their hands on.

and British motorcycle engines were based on 40's technology right up to 1974 and look like they're from long time ago so this eliminates far too many bad *** limey bobbers that exist due to the 1963 ban.

Because it's a ****ING CAR SHOW!!!!

And it doesn't start untill SATURDAY!!!

Jezuss Chisto!!! Where is the ****ing LOGIC ****ON TM on this thing?

You want to park 2 ****ing days early at a CAR SHOW?!!!

You must be the kings of power parking.

What CAR SHOW would let you park 2 ****ing days early?

The car show area has always been the PREFERRED PARKING area for the Weakender Patrons' cl***ic/Custom/Hot Rod cars. IT was NEVER intended to be a PARKING/HANGOUT/CAMPING area for a bunch of CHEAP-***ED Hangers-On without enough style or cl*** to enjoy a *****in' Roots Rock and Roll show.

YOU DON'T LIKE IT? STAY THE **** HOME?

And make sure you keep telling yourself about how Axel's all about the MONEY BRO and that's why you have nothing to do for Easter Weekend....

OOOORRRR.... wait for it... wait now....

YOU COULD JUST BUY A P*** FOR VLV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's it like an extra $50?

Think of all the fun you could have by 'STEPPING UP TO THE LONG GREEN' TM

Or would that cut into your ASPHAULT CAMPING MONEY TM...

Actually, I think Nads was responding to the Caffeine Rob--and excercising his subtle irony muscle to boot.

Regardless, I agree with you. I bet there are a bunch of dudes who go to Viva and put gas, hotel, and everything else on a credit card, then leave the unpaid balance on their card for months. The $ amount of that interest is probably five times the amount of the car show admission fee but you won't see them up here whining about it.

How about a reply from Axle regarding why the $20 car show guys can't park early too. VLV has been the place to go for pro car builders everywhere. All I want is a valid reason why we can't park when the ticket holders do. Look, I'm not trying to be a punk but c-mon! What's the big deal about parking early. There is no possible reason to not letting it happen other than making everyone buy a ticket thay won't use except to park early. We come with alot of cars and prefer to park together, so we get there on Thursday and line 'em up. Axle, please respond as to why.

It sure seemed like Kilroy was pretty ****in' crystal clear! Go teach those capitalist *******s a lesson and start your anti-VLV show where you can bask in your communist glory. Just watch out for flying bottles.

I don't even know Axle, so I definitely wouldn't **** his **** on our first thread together. I'm a third thread guy with no exceptions!

kilroy, you are right on it again man! i'm speechless just how much you have a serious grip on this...i really mean that.

as for bikes.....like i have allways preached in the past. its a car show. bikes were never a part of it. i know the chopper/bobber/pre 63/post 63/mid 63,yadda yadda yadda.....but hey, its better than nothing at all.
at least there will be a couple handfulls of bikes to look at. and in the end, we didn't make the rules....the city of las vegas and the property owners have made 99% of the rules.
i have had 20 phone calls regarding this hamb post and you know what fella's? i aint worried about ****. this show is still gonna rock. and i bet you we are going to start seeing QUALITY INSTEAD OF QUAN***Y.i'd love to start seeing HOP UP & RODDERS JOURNAL GUYS attend this! dont get me wrong...i'm for the young kid who is stickin every nickle & dime in his ride and doing what he can...but i'm not....i repeat...i'm not in to the 40 year old guy who can afford something half way decent but instead chooses to build a **** box with no floor, bald tires,no brakes, body channeled 1/4" from the ground, stock low compression 305 with a 2 barrel and open headers. leave that fu%$#! **** at home as far as i'm concerend.
nads, you gonna be there with me standing side by side watchin the "redondo's" sing thier brooklyn street corner style doo wop....right!?!?!
the car show is going to be out on the parking lot next to the gold coast. vendors will set up against the wall. there will be sun and shade...good thing is....no more wind blowing canopies everywhere. there will be one way in to the fenced off car show area, and one way out. this will be secured and watched and no one will be able to sneak in. and thats my daily post.

I'm old, bordering on senile, and even I understand why.

    The car show is Saturday.
Prior to Saturday, the parking lot is for preferred parking for the people going to the shows.
If they let you in before Saturday, you might be taking a parking spot from one of the people who paid for preferred parking.
There are some people who would park their car, and leave it there for the entire weekend, to get a primo parking place for the show. (You wouldn't do that, I'm sure)
Seems reasonable and easy to understand to me...They COULD have said you HAVE to buy the weekend ticket, you know....

Whatever. Look for the Anti-VLV soon, most likely at the Palms. And this will be a traditional car show not a ***-a-billy show.

    mr. devil,
allthough i love the neck of the woods you live in,(we just vacationed there) i think your name calling
is starting to get offense...which, for a newbie hamber should not be tolerated.
if you have any more concerns please read mutt or kilroy's last replies very carefully as i am sure you will get the whole picture.
there will be parking for you just not as early as you'd like.
    have a nice day.

    You have fun with that...

I'm sure the Palms will welcome you with open arms. And the parking lot should be plenty big enough for it.

What bands are you going to have?

I bet some nice Psycho-billy would be kool. Or are they too ***gy too?

What about Punk? Oh that's right, Punk bands get PAID now...

Oh well, I bet it will be really cool.

The 'standing by the car and looking tough' should be really happenin' there.

I can just hear the in depth discussion about how Mike Ness would lean on his Ride just right to exude maximum toughness...
    No wait I'll show you...
No that's not right you have to cros your legs like James Dean in 'Rebel'...
No, dude you're looking weak bro...
Tilt your head back a little so the sun shines off your black flys just right...
    That's it! Now don't move!
