My lovely wife has given me a cool B-day present--she's giving me a new interior for my barn-find '60 Chevy Biscayne. We don't have the equipment to redo the upholstery ourselves, so, in the interest of having it done right and looking good, it's being sent out to professionals who know what they are doing. Now, in lieu of the squirrel turd covered, rat-gnawed, mouse pee stinking mess that was the upholstery/kick panels/door panel covers/headliner, I'm getting a custom-made headliner (made out of a bedspread I got at the local Hippie shop), new windlace, the seats are being rebuilt from bare springs, new kick/side panels, the door panels are being re-covered, the visors are being re-covered, and the package shelf is all-new. It's only been in the shop since the tail end of last week, and the guys are already hard at work. The windlace is on, the door panels are re-covered and being reinstalled, the package shelf is most of the way done, and the custom headliner is in and ready for tweaking/final fitting. Since threads like this are worthless w/o pix, here's a few to take a look at....
I got back over to the shop today, and here's where things are at now. It should be done and ready to go next week.
