Those **** heads at UPS have damaged or destroyed 5 transmissions I shipped with them in the last two years. Now they get a nice wooden crate. I insure all and have been paid but the lost product, inconvenience to the guy on the other end and loss of time to get it fixed just isn't worth the h***le.

So, another UPS horror story to add to the collection.

UPS ****s even here in Canada! I ordered a couple of cheap Kenworth shirts and a hat online, and it got sent UPS up here. Well we gotta pay duty when it arrives. So they charge a $40 FEE just to handle your god damned money and give it to customs! No one else does that, just UPS!

I NEVER ever ship any of my artwork through UPS.

I always use USPS priority mail. It usually gets there within 3 days and so far I've never had a problem.

With USPS priority, I had ONE package that was said to have gotten mis-delivered, but showed up at the right place the next day....The only thing I can think is it was a computer glitch with the tracking # itself....
Other than that small mis-hap...USPS has been GREAT.

Everything I get from UPS looks like someone has beat the hell out of it. I don't know how my stuff isn't broken to hell. I get a lot of stuff from Speedway, Jegs, and Summit....all of those places ship UPS. Most of the boxes looks like a 800lb gorilla tried to mate with it. Luckily, none of the stuff has been broken.

WOW! this has been VERY enlightening. i'll think twice the next time i ship something. i usually go with USPS just cause it is close to me and convenient. if i do need to ship something that USPS can't handle i just might go Fed Ex.

I'm thinking of moving to and requesting things sent to me through FedEx as well. I just got a tank delivered by UPS (and admittedly it wasn't packed as well as it could have been) that looks like it has been put through a woodchipper and spit back out again. I hadn't had a single problem with UPS until the last year or so when damage (mostly minor) seemed to go up and service quality went down.

I think their entire operation is beginning to go 'brown'.

UPS quality has gone down and the ****ing prices are not worth it anymore.

Two reasons- ****ing job for life union and going public on the stock market.

Those two just don't ****ing gell.

The last 5 years I have seen a lot of laziness in drivers who don't give a ****.
"Got a complaint ? Speak to my union chief."
I asked him who he represented and he said the union !
    I said what about U.P.S. ?
He said he didn't have say in anything anymore.
I said must be nice to pay somebody to think for you too !
I asked if he checked with them before he wiped his *** first.
He handed me a damage sheet and walked out.
I refused the shipment, called his supervisor who that day was resigning to be a route driver and join the union.
    Screw them.
I recieved a credit for the damage but I short paid the rest and am done with them.
