Customs Old School lake pipes

These are on Ebay - I've see some before, but I don't think I've ever see this type of lake pipe on a car - does anyone have some pictures?

 

Are thos what some people called 'kickstand pipes" or something like that?

 

Just look like shorty pipes. Had some on a 54 ford 24" long.

really there are thousands of tenagers who were broke in 1962 have finally built or bought some toys so we have about 10x more rods and customs than in the 60 's JMHO

1960 Buick....

 

These short style were popular on the 40s cars. My cousin had a 46 Ford coupe with them in the late 50s. The 50s cars were more likely to have the full length lakers.
