hey fellas...working on my 53 Bel air and I'm interested in hearing your suggestions or experience when it comes to rebuilding OR buying a new master cylinder under the drivers floorpan to replace/repair my frozen one. also seeing if you guys have any suggestions as to where i can find such a thing without breaking the bank. would like to hear any of your success stories or failed attempts...my 53 wont be a daily driver for quite some time, but my gut keeps telling me...do it right, or don't do it at all.

there's a bunch of threads on this
you can install a dual circut master under the floor, in the same spot as the stock one. they make brackets for this or you can make your own easy enough.
there's a thread on making the bracket using the pedal mounts from the old master. I believe it's in the rockstars with torque wrenchs group

  4. ECI makes a good conversion mount if you have an auto.

If you're not too good at fabricating a bracket, check with Buffalo Enterprises. They make a mount using your old master cylinder ***embly.
