Anything will fit with some work, like Skyrodder said...but a stock '57 Cadillac bumper/grille is too wide for a '54 Chevy...it's simply not a bolt-on operation...

a person could make one fit, but there is no way I can see where it won't look incredibly bad.

I appreciate every ones opinion, and some where just a bit "smart ***" but thanks for taking the time. The question was mainly asked cause I don't have the grill in person but I Bought one which is on
Its way and hoping just maybe some one out there may have did one and has some guidance or point me in da right direction without losing time. I think its Gonnna come out pretty sick!

I'm a decent welder, just curious on the extent of fab was done, like did he re-fab the grill mustsche or cut the front bottom half of the fenders where the headlights meets the mustache or did he eliminate the bottom apron and fabbed a bracket. I wish ya had photo docs of the fitment or photo face up of da grill.

  16. all of the above. All new metal from the headlights down. And the last 6 inches or so of the hood. If you don't know how to weld sheet metal you will warp the **** out of it. Weeks of work when into this, not a Saturday afternoon project.

Gary Chopit built a 50 Merc with a nicely integrated Cad grille.

That's pretty awesome! Anyone have any thoughts on a dope looking headlight to modify the 54 with?
