my girlfriend wants to replace her vaccuum wipers on her 50 pontiac with electric ones where is the best place to get them thanks
Convert the electrics to Alternator and use a 2 wire internally regulated alternator off a Jap Diesel. These Alternators have a VACUUM PUMP on the back of them, so you can keep the vacuum wipers stock. The pull amazing vacuum all the time, and the bonus is amazing brakes also
Definitely Newport Engineering. Call Patrick's Antique out in Arizona. He'll have a good price and is a pleasure to deal with!
i bought them from newport and istalled them work great, and were very striaght forward and easy to install now im thinking ill buy some for my shoebox
Newport is the best choice. It is a direct bolt in. I have their wipers on my 48 Olds conv, and they work great. They are great people to work with as well.
I put a Newport in my '58 Chevy and it bolted in place with no issue and works like a charm. I would highly recommend them. Sent from my iPhone using TJJ
just my 2 cents-rain x really works. I had an o/t 4x4 in central american during rainy season with broken wipers, the rain x did the trick no problem. I think it's just rubbing alcohol or something
