This subject was on the intro. board a while back thought I'd bring it over here. Seems like any insurance Co. is good when your paying your Preims. I'd like to hear from anybody who's had a claim? How they stack up when you need them! Trojan
Always had Hagerty I like their guaranteed value coverage and the policy also covers flatbed road service and has no mileage limits. The policy even covers my spare parts up to 750.00.
Grundy wanted all my vehicles (daily drivers and hot rod). Wouldn't just insure my hot rod. Went with Hagerty. No problems. The car isn't finished and they still accepted it with an agreed value.
Using "search this forum" I found this: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/search.php?searchid=2027114 Trying different key words such as grund or Hagerty will yeild many more.
I had a claim with Hagerty with an OT car. They responded with an adjuster the next day. The agent also checked with us several times while we were repairing the damage. I still use them & have no complaints.
I used to have Hagerty, but switched to Grundy and cut my rates almost in half. I haven't had to file a claim yet.
Same here, two cars with Grundy and paying half what I paid with Haggerty. But I've never filed even a mild claim so I can't speak for their service. I have heard good things about Haggerty from a friend who was rear ended and they really went the extra mile for him.
I've been with Hagerty for years. I feel the rate I pay is fair, and they are very friendly & helpful.
