Galaxie/mercury info needed please

Hi guys l need to replace the floor/trunk pan in my marauder due to rust. I see i can buy a replacement pan to suit a 63 galaxie.
Is it he same as the merc?
Will it fit?

The gas filler spout on a Galaxie tank is several inches too short for a Merc, so the trunk floor will be too short too. I don't know if it would be usable with some mods, but it won't be a direct fit.

 

Thanks mate. Could you also tell me if a galaxie bonnet fits? I want to run a thunderbolt bonnet.

i think the merc hood(bonnet) is bigger then a galaxies you can buy the galaxie teardrop scoop from crites, or dearborn cl***ics and bond that to your mercs bonnet
