I know that this is a Max Grundy print, but I was told that it was based off of an actual car that was featured in street rodder. Does anyone know who made it, what it's called, or have any pictures? Thanks
its here in cali i believe, i saw it at the fathers day/la roadster show last year. did not catch the builder though sorry. i know the windshield really i that short and its green glass. interior is pretty bare bones and aluminum BUMP
I remember that car. It had a pair of Optima batteries under the seat area. It was built by a rod shop and featured in Rod and Custom....I'm pretty sure. They have archives (Street Rodder and Rod and Custom) on their website, Iam sure that you will be able to find it. -Mtch
I was about to say that I saw something similar in Australia... In fact, I almost went to jail with its owner!
Your car was the first one that came to mind when I saw that, Striper. So the rumors that Ryan is permanently banned down under are true, huh ? Don
I remember seeing it in Street Rodder. Some shop builds a number of these a year for the customer and to their taste and desires.. I'll have to go dig it out and look.
Found it.. Street Rodder November 2008 issue. "Land Speeder" built by Old Speed Hot Rods owned by Mike Goins and Rick O'Connor. Debuted at the GNRS in 2008.
No, Ryan is always welcome here. Just a note to all of you...under no circumstances let Ryan do the talking
