  2. Br*** bike frame sounds cool.

  3. By br*** "coating", do you mean br*** plating? Any plating shop should be able to handle it for you

There's not much call for br*** plating anymore & the plating solution contains cyanide, so any body that is not doing a large production job has discontinued it. I presume you want br*** plating for the color effect? You can play with tinted lacquer or maybe powdercoat. IHMO, br*** plating is hard to protect from tarnishing, clear lacquer will not hold up to road abuse and the parts will turn black where the clear was chipped off. We br*** plated custom grilles & sidesteps for a couple of guys building some pretty nice p/u's in the 80's.They were top coated with good automotive catalyzed clear. Looked good for the first year, then the rock chips started showing up. For smaller parts you could think about gold, but of course it expen$ive, but it doesn't tarnish. Check with your local lowriders, they do a lot of gold on their show rigs. Some of them have a shop chrome the parts and then they brush plate the gold. If your looking for a tarnished look for your avatar then copper is your best bet. Most custom shops still in business do copper...........Red

Our shop hasn't had a br*** plating setup since 2004. Copper plating will always be available as long as platers are still around, as it is needed for the restoration of most plated parts.

I would check out antique lamp/chandelier restoration shops; they use br*** plating regularly, and if they don't do it in house they know where to get it done. Good luck!
