i have been searching for over an hour on this topic and have not found anything on this, I am in the process of gathering therest of my parts for my 31 tudor, it consists of 31 tudor on 32 rails, model A front crossmember, 36-39 drums and wheels, 39 trans, flathead, 39 pedal ***embly, dropped axle split front bones, 38 rear axle unsplit, 40 ford backing plates, My questions are, has it been done? is it too long/wide? any help and pictures would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd begin in the tech archives and look through the build threads for what you're looking for.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=647056
If you use a '39-'40 Ford (or Mercury) X-member, then the hydraulic brake pedal ***embly is a bolt in. Pedal arms need to be heated and bent, but the ***embly will bolt to the X-member. '33-'34 and '35-'38 Ford will require a bit more work as they had mechanical brakes.
This isn't Apples to a Apples but it's my A ch***is with 36 X member, 39 trans mount and 39 pedals. Took some messing around but looks good and works grate. I did a few other "adjustments" while I was at it. The Wizzard
B***, thanks for the inspiration, i read all of yor posts, i found a 35-38 frame and bought it today for $270, totally complete, has a 39-40 brake pedal ***embly on it, it has been modified for them. Thanks to everyone else for the pictures and replies! it sure does help, and it is appreciated.
