Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by A32Flathead, Jul 10, 2005.

  1. I've got to say, first off, great show! Having it a**** the historic buildings makes it even better. There are a bunch of pics sitting on my flash card waiting for upload at lunch. hope you guys like them.

edit: When i showed up near 12, i figured it to be packed so i parked my 55 in the lot next door for $6. Turns out the show had some spots left at $5 per! dang!

that primer 49 caddy was one of my favorite cars there. Did you check out the hood treatment....wow. That and the A. That A blew me away. Roof gas filler. Cool.

Thanks to all for posting pics on the HAMB and the photo-bucket-type places! Some very cool rides there that day, and sounds like a great venue for a show.

    Sean,
Thanks for letting us have a booth there at your car show, we all had a blast. tell Scotty thanks for us as well, great turn out!
I had only one complaint and that was... it was cool to have a vendor space and all, but i missed the whole darn show and never once walked the whole thing except for the time i had to use the restroom, I definitely need an ***istant next time:) as for photos... i took two:(

Here's Alex (Gambino kustoms and Road Zombie) selling air bags right next to me.

I sold tees and prints of my paintings.

the awesome thing that day was a good friend of mine bought one of my large paintings (Billy's Red 1930 chopped Model A w/ the green background) for his nephews B-day coming up which actually paid for the set of (4) 1932 Ford Kelsey Hayes "16 rims for my A Coupe i bought earlier on EBAY Sunday morning in which i spent a bundle on! ... so that was pretty cool of him and felt like that the painting paid for those wires!
what a great setting for a car show, it reminded me a bit like Paso, but with no cars on the gr***... damn VW guys have to ruin it for the rest:(
can't wait for next year and have my hotrod there as well!
thanks again to the Strangers for an awesome car show,
    CAB

Sean, Scotty and the rest of the gang... thank you!!
The show was the big debut of my business...and couldn't have picked a better show to start it off!!

Was fabulous to see some familiar faces, and to meet some new ones as well!

Already looking forward to next year (with Vicky the Valiant!!)

if you can call them aircleaners..yeah.. Great touch. one of the first things I noticed the first time I saw the truck. it's a great little truck. One of my favorites actually. It's got the small stuff that's just......well....right.

did you get a chance to take a look at the rear suspension?
