Hello Everyone! This is Dennis Frings and I am finally on the HAMB with the help of alliance member DODORED. Looking forward to participating and helping where I can. Writing you from sunny Concord North Carolina!
Hello Dennis and welcome!! I saw you all over the place at the Autofair this weekend. I was the one with the two front aluminum wheels that looked magnesium in Row LB. :d You said they were too rich for your blood. Can't wait to hear more about some of your cars and your love of magnesium wheels. You told some good stories in the brief moments we spoke! Later - Josh
Good to see you on here Dennis, you will be a real ***et to the HAMB, experience like yours is hard to come by. Now post some pictures of your great work!
Dennis has been waiting for this internet fad to p*** by, but it looks like its not going to. I am helping Dennis get up to speed with the HAMB and the internet in general, so hopefully in the next week or two I can help him get some of his photos posted. He truly is an incredible fabricator with decades of experience.
Dennis welcome I have admired you work for a great many years.. Boys and girls this guy knows his **** and will be welcome for his knowledge.. Bobby
Welcome Dennis, Several people have referred me to you regarding Quick Change rear axles. I started to write a book about about QCs. The intent was to explain set-up, available parts and use particularly for hot rods. I thought a chapter about the history and some older models might be interesting. That has taken on a life of it's own. If you have time, could you look at this thread and add any information you may have? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=677151&highlight=quick+change Thanx, Bruce
Im late as hell in this but I just have to say that Dennis is hands down the most talented ch***is fabricator I have ever seen. His frames are seriously a work of art.
