    Hi there,

Sorry to be a pain, I have tried searching but have come up short.

Does anyone have any more pics of this coupe? And any info on engine, axles, colour etc?
    Is it still around today?

    Many Thanks

Started out with a S.C.O.T blown flat head. Then went to a supercharged 260 Ford, then to a LS-6 454 Chevy.

Thanks for the replies Master of None.

Do you have any idea what the original colour was, or is it a guess just by looking at the picture etc?

    Dark red / copper maybe?

    Cheers

Says in the story that it was" painted in several coats of Honduras maroon enamel right in the family garage".

Search for Hutchinson and Hope coupe, or as it was drag raced Moody Blue. You might come up with some more current ans as is pictures.

  7. Here is one more color shot of the coupe that I stole of the HAMB.

Thanks Master of None, you are a legend!

And thanks for the pic Lurker Mick, much appreciated. I'll do some googling to try and find some more.

    Such a cool car!

    Cheers for your help

I took that first pic at Bonneville in '66 but that's the only pic that I have and it's a color slide. I didn't have any info on the car but Master of None has helped out there.

Hi Swifty. Well looks like a lot of credit has to go to you cos after quite a bit of searching, I am struggling to find any other pictures of it.

    Thanks again!

Sorry about the quality of the pic I Like Cars but my son took that with his digital point and shoot when I was showing him slides from my 66 trip to the States. He then did a thread on it here which is probably where you found it.
The color slide is a better pic than his result. Pity I can't scan slides to get you a better version. Looking at your avatar I can see why you like it, but the one posted by lurker mick is a good shot.

No need to apologise, the pic is awesome.

Now that you have mentioned it, your pic does make the coupe look darker than the pic Lurker Mick posted.

No worries about the slides, thanks for posting the pic up in the first place, and replying, much appreciated.

    Cheers
