So I noticed on the way to work today that my '59 seemed a bit louder than usual. Seems my pipe has cracked almost al the way through just a bit behind the manifold, (old repair spot) looks like a need a new pipe and gl***pack, anybody know of a shop in San Diego that could do it pretty quick? This is my daily driver. It's a y-block with the stock front crossover manifolds.

  4. Seems like location is important. How close to work or home are you after? Plus most shops don't mind if you supply your own muffler.let your fingers do the walking.

Yeah Sam, I know how to use a phonebook. I was looking for suggestions for cl***ic friendly shops that won't have a fit if I ask them to install a "off road use only" muffler on my truck.

Try "Little D", the name of his shop is called Chapelles 619-743-4634 & he is located on Pioneer Rd in El Cajon.
    Tell him "Red" sent you.

  8. Re-read your post #1 ... you asked for someone that could do it in a hurry ... no mention of suggestions of "cl***ic friendly shops that won't have a fit if I ask them to install a "off road use only" muffler on my truck."

.... when it comes to reading minds I am a total failure.

Not trying to ruffle feathers Sam figured it was implied considering the nature of the board. Not trying to be a smart *** just clarifying. At Ed hanson's now, thanks for the help guys.
