Can any of you locals recommend a motel close somewhat close by? Something middle to lower budget (don't need a Hampton!) and room to park my duelly/ 24' box trailer.

  2. There's all the close ones >>>

Well boys, I'm at the stupid baseball game and all I wanna do is walk over to the shop and work on stuff. I'll be thrashin' late all week... Anybody else "under the gun"?

Thanks. Got a room at the Quality Inn, Comfort and Days were already full, something about baseball & tennis games. If your coming from out of town I'd suggest booking a room asap.

I just got off the phone with my driver "Stephanie" says she's ready to kick some **** in the 1/8th flag drop, "Talkin Smack" just like her Daddy...
Here's a pic of her on her first p*** at our last event :D

    A BIG THANKS,
To everyone who showed up and supported this deal. In spite of it being the hottest day of the year so far we all had a great time at "Arizona's Oldest & Finest Dragstrip" with a nice "Hot Rod Show" and some good
"Drag Racing Fun". We were also privliged to be able to spend some time & present our AZ Hot Rod Pioneer award to one of Arizona's own Drag Racing Icons "Al Eshenbaugh". Check out the pic of the burnout he did in his buddies blown Hemi 32 Roadster, he almost lost his "200 MPH Club Hat", he is one “CooL Cat.”
    Check out the pics......

save me a spot for the Fall event.....The nova is torn back down to the bare ch***is for paint now. The summer heat is a good time to have it apart.

I raced my '55 Thunderbird (the Battle Bird) with a 307 sbc and a Turbo 350. My first p*** was against this Austin Healy powered by a hot SBC. The announcer got the Healy right, but called my T-Bird a Sunbeam Tiger or Alpine.

Being British Racing Green with the white racing stripe, my T-Bird gets mistaken for a Sunbeam quite regularly.

Once again, a great time at the Southwest Nostalgia Drags. What a blast! My thanks to Marc, Spike and the whole crew for making this gig happen.

My boy just posted this vidio on Youtube we took at Friday night test and tune. I think he's doing ok for a rookie, 3rd time on a race track. If you listen close you can here the motor going flat when the rocker popped off:confused:, lucky no broken parts and he could come back Saturday and play some more
