Doesn't Ca, have a provision for you to buy insurance for unisured drivers? Florida does and it pays off.

 

Don't let it stop you from having the photos made,just shoot at a angle and from the rear of the car,,30 years from now you will be glad you did.

The car can be fixed,,I know it's not what you planed but repairs are doable. HRP

Sorry about your ride and just another case of a dumb *** on the road who jacks it up for all us folks who actually pay our way through life. I would definetly go after her *** legally and stay on your insurance company to not let up. But like someone else led on, just be thankful you got to see another sunrise--their just cars and they can be fixed. Keep us posted on your repair work--

 

I have already been able to find a nice set of fenders and a hood. Still lookin for a splash pan, bumper, and a mustache bar.

It sounds like you are taking it pretty well. Getting hit by a UM with no license is ALWAYS my biggest fear here around 'Dago. Get the police report and beat feet to the DA's office to find out what THEY are going to do to keep this ***** off the road. Show them pics of your car (before and after) and keep the heat under their ***es - she might be getting away with this for years!

What kind of POS was she driving and did she have kids in the car? I can only hope it got impounded for starters. It might be a lot of ******** to go through, but you owe it to yourself and the rest of us here in Cali to make a big deal out of this - become this *****'s BIGGEST ****ING NIGHTMARE!!! Just be sure to take the "high road" so you don't jam your self up later...

Nearly every day, I p*** ***holes with cell phones and ear buds, while cops hide in the bushes looking for speeders or piss away thousands running DUI checkpoints. "Never mind the law... we gotta make some money for our paychecks and juicy pensions!" We need to call ******** on this and tell L.E. to get back to LAW ENFORCEMENT!!!
