Buried Treasure!

    While I was tilling up our back yard to do a new garden I fond a pile of cement block and some old car parts!!!

    One piece looked to be a bumper mount, and this is the other piece.

    It's either aluminum or die cast. I don't see any sort of number though.

    Kind of weird to find this right in the city.

    That looks like an antique shoe spreader.

    I found some rocker arms in my yard. Probably small engine as they were pretty small.

    That's what I thought at first. The top side (I assume) is bent forward. It has two studs cast in and the pieces of steel to bolt it to the bumper. It must have been used as fill when they built the garage.

    Wish I had a photo of it, but I don't. But when I first moved to where I live now and have for 35 + years. I was tilling up some dirt for a garden and dug up an very nice old Model T truck running board with the Ford logo on it. Sand blasted it and shot some primer on it and sold it at a swapmeet.

    Coolest thing I ever dug up was an old ash can was pretty rotted. Guess someone used it as a planting pot and at some point it got covered in dirt.

    i know were a shitload of cars are buried for a creek wash out from an auto dealer in the 50s owned the land
    pulled a 52 chevy 4 door from creek already
