and just my opinion, wouldn1t flake the roof, i love flaked roofs, but they don`t work for me on a fastback, hard to seperate the roof from the trunk....but hey, maybe....good luck! still a sweet ride!

Yeah that's actually going thru our minds with no separation we seen one with a chrome piece that divided it on 1 but of course it wasn't a stock piece

I agree with newsomtravis- two-toning it would break up the beautiful rear slop that body has. Go to The Photoshop Thread to End All Photoshop Threads and have someone give her a whirl.

Heres a pic of george lopez' '51 that jesse built for him. (same general body style) Metal flake roof. You can outline and round it off w/ pinstriping to break it up. (dont have to do entire roof in my opinion).

great car, dont take much to make them look cool. good luck

  10. leave it alone, or go all the way.
if you try to JUST do the roof, it will look like an overly frosted cupcake.

Lopez' car is a perfect example. looks like someone cleared a flag to the roof... giant cupcake.

if he REALLY has to do it, cut the line in at the reveal just under the windows and take it ALL the way down the decklid. most likely, the top of the hood would have to be included in panel form so that it doesn't look blocky.

I have to say that I agree with this. Unless you came up with a creative way of breaking it that accentuated the great lines that the car came with. That's the nonly way it would really "work." If you come up with something post up the idea- even if you don't use the idea, someone else may.

Go big or go home! ahaha, these are from Local Hero, the japanese site. A big extreme, but very impressive. I think only the roof will look unfinished. those fastbacks are all or nothing with a flake paintjob imo.
