Is it me or are the prices for these trucks over the top now? Has the market somehow changed? These cars wont sell on Ebay for even 15k and some of them are not much ohter than stock and not really in restored condition.

They have gone from being dirt cheap to being spendy in the past few years. I think that they have become real popular with the guys who throw cars together to sell them as a lot of "Project" or "patina AD trucks seem to show up in a running and driving and not much more condition at premium prices on an all too regular basis.

Yup, it's known as supply and demand. They used to be everywhere it seemed, and very reasonable for a running vehicle. Well, not any more. When I was a kid (long time ago) 37 and 38 Fords were the ugly ducklings, nobody wanted them. Once the supply of 32's got slim, the 34 became sought after, yup eventually the 37's started showing up in all the mags. The 47-55 1st series are getting harder to find and harder to pay for!
