Bowling green 2012 - who's going?

Will be another fun time at Beech Bend..if the weather cooperates a little better than last year!! I'll be there with one of Akin's Indy cars and probably the 40 will be there also...hope to see more of the Hambers present......Joe

 

was there last year...............in the rain. we still had a ball.gonna try it again this year.

 

I will be there, hopefully in my falcon g***er if its driveable.My elcamino if the falcons not finished. Hopefully no rain this year.

Wouldn't miss it - one of my all-time favorite shows...

 

I watched that Hudson go down a couple times last year......look for the orange Plymouth in the gr*** section near the campgrounds....cant wait and hope for no rain.

 

I'll be there in my new baby blue '60 Pontiac Catalina Safari wagon.

 

Count me and the tub cruising around. Cant wait to smell the nitro and rubber!!

 

Last I heard from Mousie, they were putting together a mini-tour of sorts for The Winged Express and the Wild Willie incarnate Mike Boyd , if you've never seen that piece of mechanical mayhem in action with Mikee at the wheel, then you never seen nothing !!

 

may have to miss this one..it will be the 1st one i miss. just not sure if i can work it out. but i'm sure there will be plenty'o pictures for me to look at.keep hoping....................................... but for those who are thinking about it,its one of the best car gigs you will ever go to!!

Track owner, Dallas Jones, ****s! He's only in it for the money.

He got my $160.00 and couldn't give a **** after that.

There were a lot of pissed off racers as well as many others.

 

shux why would a guy own a bizzness and only be in it for the money.
mr jones has always been very nice to me. but benefit of the doubt,i don't race.if your talking about last year i would not have brought in a load of gas either with a the kind of rain/threat of rain there was.but thats just me!

 

We'll be there, burning fuel and drinking beer. Bringing both just in case. Oh yeah and selling T shirts to help pay for it too.

 

If you are talking about the Reunion it was the NHRA that got your $160 not the track. We run nostalgia races there on a regular basis and Dallas has always been good to us.
