http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/2983407088.html I'm going there in the morning with CASH! No, I'm camping out in his front yard tonight! Seriously, I've seen some posts lately about people asking too much $-I think this is what they are talking about. Peace......
Who wouldn't jump at this opportunity? 2 clapped out s****yard bodies lightened, by cutting out the subframes, mounted on "custom made" frames that have late model front suspensions scabbed on. This is only selling for $5k? Maybe he just selling the trailer & you have to take the **** on it with you.
Not seeing $5k worth of car(s) here myself, but it is 2-fer Tuesday. Almost guarantee someone will also be there flashing $6k in his face. Bob
Obviously, it includes the trailer. I suspect these cars were headed for vintage stock car racing. Gary
hell, I'd give him a thousand more just for that chopped and shortend 283...thats a rare Henry Ford dealer option
I hear ya' and if I was closer and had the cash, I'd be camping out on the guy's s front lawn too..even before you! Just for an idea what *all old cars* are really worth, I was watching one of those Barrett-Jackson Auctions on TV a couple of years ago and I saw a 1931 Duesenberg sedan go for about $1,500,000...and that Model A Ford is just as old, (it's probably about the same year even!) and the body style of a Model A Ford is even vaguely and somewhat, kind of, sort of, almost similar to that of a custom-bodied Duesenberg of the same era too - so even if the condition is pretty rough (it's definitely a 'fixer-upper' and needs a bit of work to make it perfect!) and not nearly as nice as the professionally restored, mint-condition Duesy I saw on TV, it's still gotta' be worth an ABSOLUTE FORTUNE!!!!
