'36 3 Window Project

Here is one of my current projects. This is my '36 3 window that has been in the works for almost 40yrs. Purchased from my dad when I was 14.

 

Yes - time flies when you are having fun! Going to be a nice ride for sure ....

 

I love the changes you have made. I wish I would have chopped my 3 window....

 

36 3 window, one of my personal favorites of all time...

 

I think the trunk will be much more use than the rumble seat.
Someone knew what they were doing to build the t-lid.

Looks great.

 

Chopp looks great. Rest of the car is also nice. I think 36 3W is one of my favorite cars, they just look so good.

Love the trunk lid mods. Real keen to follow this one.
I can only dream about being this far along with mine.

Nice work! The deck lid is a huge improvement.

Here is some more pics of the trunk and lid. The outer skin is aluminum and the bracing is steel to help keep it light since the lid is about twice the original size. .

Nice job on the trunk lid. Will be a "back-saver" when loading/unloading stuff.
And you should have room for the spare under the floor, like the later models.
