'36 3 Window Project

    Here is one of my current projects. This is my '36 3 window that has been in the works for almost 40yrs. Purchased from my dad when I was 14.

    I think the trunk will be much more use than the rumble seat.
    Someone knew what they were doing to build the t-lid.

    Looks great.

    Chopp looks great. Rest of the car is also nice. I think 36 3W is one of my favorite cars, they just look so good.

    Here is some more pics of the trunk and lid. The outer skin is aluminum and the bracing is steel to help keep it light since the lid is about twice the original size. .[​IMG]

    Thanks koolkemp. I did forget to mention that I owe a big thanks to a member here ( 36fred ) for his idea and help with the lid and trunk.

    Neat history; subscribed!

    Nice job on the trunk lid. Will be a "back-saver" when loading/unloading stuff.
    And you should have room for the spare under the floor, like the later models.
