  1. what is this suicide door sedan that followed me home?
It has a tag on the cowl front that says: patented in Canada 1926 -27

I'm stumped ! What did I find? Here is a recent thread with a similar body, i think they are both Essex sedans albeit different years. Both cars have the piano door hinge.

  3. I thought Essex or Chrysler. But I haven't been able to match either?
I'll get some dash and cowl shots.

Its a 1929 Essex or Hudson, note the door handle position on body line...

Im not sure who actually made the 2 door sedan that year, its one or the other.

  5. I can't find a match? Both Hudson and Essex look close, except the fat belt line.

It has pine cones cast into the fancy nickel plated door handles?

Definitely Essex or Hudson - most likely 28 or 29 Essex.

I say Essex Too. Here's a side view of a '29 Essex Two Door. Not sure Hudson ever had a Two Door in those years.

  9. Thats it guys, looks like a 1929 Essex.
I found an archival Essex 2 door photo on ebay also.

I bought this body, a 34 Dodge truck cab and a 29 Pontiac cowl in the New Mexico, Trementina / Trujillo canyon yesterday, from the SUPER cool cats that are the Team Cutters shop. www.teamcutters.com These cool cats live 45 minutes from ANY thing.

    Thanks
