Can anyone tell from this picture if these are Hursts or Radirs? I am thinking about getting some Radir tri-bars and love the way they look and Hursts seem impossible to find.

anybody have a 65 GTO with Radirs on it? Would love to see how they look

I am in the market for some new wheels for my 65 GTO and I am wondering what to go with? I don't have any hursts... I think Craigers or Torq Thrust 2's look good but lately I have been thinking about some Tri-Ribs...

Any counsel on what looks most stock? period correct... etc..

If it were up to me: Tri-Ribs yeah, Cragers maybe, Torq Thrust 2's definitely not.

What about tires... as long as I am going big, I am thinking for sure redlines... but BFG, Firestone, etc....

I lean towards Firestones, just because I love they way they look.... anyone know what was stock in 65 from the dealer, sizes etc?

Here's what the Hursts look like. I think the Radirs are better looking.

My old man's '65 GTO has Hurst wheels on it, he bought brand new repops from "The Parts Place" out of Illinois I believe. Wheels were fantastic quality and they were $1995 for the set of four. Not cheap but he put redlines on them and they look frickin' great. Not sure if the new ones are still available or not.

I had my OG M/T Raders with the gold line tires set up next to my '65 Tempest 2dht and they looked great but unfortunately were the wrong bolt pattern so I couldn't use them, I've got a sweet matching set of Keystone Kustomags (NOT Kl***ics) to go on the car with redlines, gives a very similar look and 100% period correct which I like.

Whatever you decide, be sure to post pics. If I didn't already have the Kustomags and I was going to buy new wheels, I'd say **** the Radirs and I'd grab some Cragar Eliminators, they're only like $120 a wheel and on a stacked-headlight Pontiac with some redlines? Honey hush. Check this photoshop that I lifted from another site (who lifted it from somewhere else).

If you don't think that's hot, you might want to get yourself tested (for gayness).

any idea what size tires would have come stock?

I am leaning towards BFG redlines, but I noticed they are only in 14's, 15's, 16's, 18's

and then I noticed that the Cragar Polished Eliminator's are only in 15's and 17's.... so it narrows choices down pretty quick to basically only using 15's

I like big littles with a tall stance... anybody know what big little tire combo will fit in that wheel well? I am running disc brakes on the front.

would love to see some pictures of stances.

If you want redlines you should check out Diamond Back tires http://www.dbtires.com/

I believe they are board vendors ... I know I got a good deal on mine from them because of the HAMB Alliance.

I just got their new catalog in the mail and Im pretty sure they have anysize and brand you could ask for.
