I am wondering how the show is, does it have a big fleamarket that the main rason I would be going to find things I need. It would be a 4 hr trip so I want to know if it worth the drive.
Its a good show and a decent swap meet. Going to be there Sunday, leaving Syracuse Sat ad staying overnight at my Sister in laws place near Kingston. Haven't been in about 9 years, so it may have changed as all things have.
I'm not sure I would drive four hours, but I think it's a great swap meet. I'm really looking forward to it.
Well I spent the day Friday at Rhinebeck. Not as many people as usual. I think the weather man kept people away. Another F#@%&ed up forcast. I had a great day and bought a couple of things. Check out this combo model a exhaust system / gas tank
We plan to be on the road around 6 should roll in around 7:30, it's always a good time. CSRA Swap at Lake Compounce is Sunday in Bristol, Ct.
I wouldn't drive 4 hours either unless I was staying for both days, but it is a big swap meet and a decent car corral. I go every year if it's not raining.
Left a bit latter than planned arrived at 9:00 with way less than normal funds. Bought everything I wanted to and had $6.00 for gas to get home. GREAT TIME! If the guy that bought the pile of 28-29 Fordor body parts is reading this remember to call me. Bob
We drove our little red 53 Studebaker to the Good guys Rinebeck show in 2000. We had a really good time the place is great and the people were great. We recieved the longest distance award. We came back to Okla with a whole new at***ude about New York and New York people. Hooley we still drive that little Stude.
I just bougt stone stock stuff to flip, prices were very reasonable I thought. Lots more people than last year, but I noticed a few vendors from the past were not there. Highlight for me was to finally see the Andy K***a '32 3Window. Bob
The sun came out about 10am and it was a perfect day for checking out the cars and parts. Lots of fun and it didn't cost a lot. I thought there were as many vendors as usual even though there was a big swap at Englishtown, too.
A very good show, great road trip, for those who live close. The swapmeet isn't big but it's worth a look see. A great area of New York with good stops along the way for food and drink. CRUISER
