I have a 1955 F100 with a 302 ford motor. I was wondering what shorty headers will work for this combo?
If you want serious answers you need to give more info and maybe a photo or 2 of the motor compartment, Whats been done to steering, strait axle or I.F.S. motor sitting high or low?? Then your only going to get a maybe answer. There is no direct fit cross over header for your truck however there are lots to chose from and several may fit,,,,,,or not. Any local performance warehouse should let you buy, test fit and exchange as long as you don't damage anything. Best of luck to ya. The Wizzard
Sorry I don't have any pictures. The truck has a mustang 2 with a power rack and tilt column. 302 with a C4. Right now it has the stock exaust manifolds which exit at the back side of the motor kind like the mustang shorty headers. From what I have seen by searching Cl***ic Truck and Custom Cl***ic Truck Mags it apears that most are using the shortys but I want to make sure before I purchase a set. Again I am sorry for not giving enough info. I do appeciate the help. Thanks!
I like the Sanderson FF2 headers for a SBF in an early F100. Here is a pic of my setup...these headers drop down and are longer than the shorties.
