thats right , the deals are still out there . i was ask to deliver a couple of old trucks to a body shop , it wasn't until the secound drop that i noticed an all original Model A Coupe and this Model A Hot Rod sitting under a carport . i kept telling myself that he would'nt sell , but i had to ask . i walked in and asked , what would it take to buy that old hot rod ? and his responce was 4 grand with a clear title  trying to remain calm i offered 3 :D . we finally met in the middle  .

the car was last driven in 2003 . it has a 350 small block that was stuck , but now runs . it also has a 350 auto trans , an s10 rear with ladder bars , and a non hamb friendly frontend . it needs a new master cylinder , but once it comes in we're going to see if it is road worthy .

Not too shabby a deal there. The bolted together brake pedal might have been a deal breaker!

yeah , there are a few questionable things on this car , but you can bet that they will be taken care of before it sees's the road .

$3,500 for all of that! The body looks to be in good shape and the lowers look good. It's already chopped, too. That frontend got it's ass whooped by the ugly stick but that can all be changed/fixed. From what little I can see of the steering/steering shaft, you may want to take a look at that, too.
I would say you got the deal of the century there! Nice work my friend!

Great score and I am really happy to hear that you already have parts to improve it. Well done.

I wouldn't have paid more than $8,000 for it.

Great deal! I'd build a chassis just the way I wanted it and put that body on it and call it done. Bob

As Ray May says, it never hurts to ask. I have driven by some that I think, naw, they won't sell that, and then I see someone hauling it away. As a sales manager once told me, ya gotta ask for the order, twice! ~sololobo~
