Hi I have been observing behind my husbands screen name for a while I think its time for me to have my own, Well best way to sum me up is "I was raised in a rumble seat" Since day one I have none Hot Rods, born into a family that was a way of life My parents Andy & Sue Brizio, and Brother Roy, also a few sisters you might understand why, I think my first cross country trip was in 1972 to St Paul Minn. Street Rod Nats, I was 8 years old, and road most of the way in a rumble seat of a 32 roadster rain or shine, gotta love family vacations. 33 people, 1 dog, and I think 12-15 cars, including Lil John in his T Sedan. One highlight trip was driving my dads purple flamed roadster to Detroit MI, in 1997 with a buddy of mine, and topless of course. I met my husband (Darryl) I know I found someone with the same passion I had for cool cars and didn't mind vacations to rod runs., Heck we even were married at a Car Museum in Blackhawk Ca. We don't have a hot rod right now, but a couple of projects, I look forward to meeting lots of people here. To quote my father "You gotta Drive em" Happy Cruising Terri Hollenbeckhttp://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Hi Terri, Ran across this thread this morning and thought I might ask if you rode with you Dad in this car ? I think he called it Andy's Purple Passion back in the day . The picture of the car with the white scallops is from Bo Bertilsson's book , Roy Brizio Street Rods , Modern Hotrods Defined . We aquired the 32 Coupe in 2007 and continue to have a lot of fun with it . The other picture of it is what the car looks like today. My wife Kathy and I, had a great visit with your Dad at the 2009 LA Roadsters Show . Regards, Bob Heron
Hello Terri. Greetings from Oklahoma. And who did you say you were related to? Just kidding. What a Hot Rodding family heritage.
Saw your old post when you first introduced yourself. Met your dad in 97. Great guy with a great philosopy. I had a couple of 37 Chevy's back then that we talked about. "STILL GOT EM and STILL DRIVING EM"
