Delco distributors for flatheads

    I need Delco aluminum distributor cores.
    We machine (picture) these units to fit the Ford Flathead and sell a few hundred each year.
    We are offering a four to one trade program.
    Send us 4 of the delco core distributors and we will send you one back rebuilt to include a new Delco cap and rotor......or you can trade the four for other ignition services..

    Box them up (with a note) and ship to :

    With the multi millions of those that were built who would have thought they would become rare? But rare they are just try to find one at the local pic-a-part yard!

    Time to start digging in the sheds. I'd say that either Bubba has cleaned out the local supply or the local supplier has decided that the aluminum distributors that he has are worth a lot more than they used to be because he is "redoing them for them hot rod guys".

    Post a picture of what cores you are looking for exactly. There is a swapmeet coming up soon and I want to send you my dizzy for rework.

    AND HERES THE FIRST PAIR !!!

    A early Delco ( old school look for sure) and a aluminum unit built and ready to ship. Curved , electronic module used and new Delco cap and rotor. Dont really get any better that this !!!

    Delco (chevrolet) rebuilt and curved with contact points, cap and rotor is $150.

    Flathead ford conversion contacts, cap and rotor is $180.00.

    yES , WHEN I TAUGHT FOR LINCOLN TECH WE USED TO TAKE FIELD TRIPS OF ALL THE GM AND ELECTRICAL PLANTS IN ANDERSON ETC.....

    TODAY DELCO DOESNT MAKE A SINGLE PART .........EVERYTHING IS REBOXED.....:eek:
