JOHN ,thanks for the cool pics of my truck....i really looks better than in person i think. you really cant see the rattle can lines at all.man ther e are so many of us this year i need a magnifing glass just to see everyone hahahaha
thanks man! it's really not that hard to steal from me, all you gotta do is put a stick in my spokes...
ROTFLMAO!!!! He use to have a really cool pair of sunglasses, in fact he's had a number of nice looking pairs, BUT he keeps losing them or breaking them. All except the "cop" pair......."oops, honey, sorry I stepped on those awesome cops glasses of yours. Perhaps I can help you pick out your new pair" (it's still Pick on Rudy week, right??)
Neat pics! Denise... I think there are more people on here that appreciate your dad's car the way it is than you think. Poteet's new hauler hurts my eyes! I like it! Did that little bug eyed thing actually RUN?? Sam.
I realize alot of HAMB guys like Dad's car. He was overwhelm with the amount of HAMB friends that stopped by to say hi and congradulated him last weekend. Dad, like most of us, enjoys all different types of cars and meeting and getting to know all different types of people. He really enjoys it when my friends stop and introduce themselves at shows and events. With that being said, whenever I post a photo of Dad's car I like to preceed it with a comment about it not exactly fitting the mold here so some newbie doesn't think that he has to spout off to me that the car isn't traditional. I hope that you and Dad get the opportunity to meet in October. I've told him about you and the fact that your the one responsable for my desire to "compete" in the Ego-Rama. He's looking forward to meeting you.
Thats a nice looking truck. As soon as I get my B&W pics put on a disc I wil post some of them for everyone to see. Once I gigure how to shrink the size of the pics on my digital I will post some of them.
Here's some pics I took. I guess I didn't take more than 70, then deleted 10 or so because of bad angles or lighting...or because I suck as a photographer Hell, I didn't take any of Blown49(Jim's)merc or Terry's truck and I spent alot of time with them Anyway...
it's about time someone else posted pictures of that bitchin' 60 chevy, i was getting tired of doing it all by myself
It was finally great to meet some of the HAMBers and put names to faces. Many thanks go to BooBoo for arranging the gathering. I apologize for not being able to stay very long... I had to make my way back to the Bricker Building to help with the Model Car Make'n Take. The looks on the faces of those kids (and parents) as they all built their free kits was priceless. Many thanks also go to Denise for the wonderful cookies. I had heard so much about them here on the HAMB that I just had to have one. They lived up to all expectations!!! I happened to meet up with Denise again on Sunday as we walking to the awards ceremony. I had told her I took pictures of her car the previous day. It displayed definite hubcap abuse, so I quizzed her about it because I really think she was doing some 360 degree burnouts. She said two of the caps simply fell off in transit. One of which they found and showed signs of being seriously abused. She told me that some very nice unknown person placed two replacements in the back seat of her car, which fit and matched the other two perfectly. They're truly are Goodguys out there!!! (Of cousre most of them are HAMB members!!!) I found the following pic of her car on the Goodguys website with all the hubcaps intact...
