I'm getting some lifter noise in my sbc. Is this something that I can get to go away with a different weight of oil or some other additive? I'm using 10w40 now.

I ***ume their hydrallic and properly adjusted. I would try 10\30 [with Z.Z.P.] and a can of G.M . E.O.S.
