I went to the Estrella WarBirds dinner and found out that Kenny p***ed this Sunday:
Kenny Van Blargen began his racing career in the late 1940s and remained active until his accident last year at Havasu City left him paralyzed from the waist down. He won hundreds of races throughout California in Jalopies, Modified and Sprint Cars.

Wow thats terrible. I believe I was at his last race at Havasu when he had his crash. Prayers to his family and others whom known him well.
