I bought this at LSRU this year. Just now posting pics. 1950 Chevrolet 3800 Pickup. Sitting on an S10 chassis with a Camaro 10 bolt rear. Has a Chevrolet 230ci inline 6 cylinder ( all stock ) and Turbo 350 transmission. It has lowering blocks in the rear and lowering coil springs up front. The body is sitting an inch above frame rails. The bed has been sectioned to fit wheelbase. I have been driving it to work every day ( 60 miles roundtrip ) and it has been great. Future plans are: Finish the Vintage Air install that was already started. Dynamat / insulate the cab and carpet. Lokar shifter. 700R4 transmission. Paint the inside of cab, leather seat / door panels. Nice wood inside bed. Rear bumper.
I`m not much of a "logo on the door" kind of guy. If it were an original logo that was on the truck from long ago and had the right patina, then yea.
I think your truck looks great, but I've gotta agree that it would look nice with some good weathered lettering on the doors!
Nice stance/look, but me personally would ditch the visor... Now go enjoy ur truck and drive the wheels off!!!
Great looking truck bro, stance is perfect. Drive train is also way cool and that six shooter tone is hard to beat. Patina deluxe!! Dig it man. Congrats!~sololobo~
Homeless guy beggin` for money at a traffic light today asks me "What color are you going to paint it?" I yell back "It IS painted, go get a fuckin job!"
Cool ride man. My last project that never got started was a '50 Chevy PU. I should have never sold it. Nice score. Ed
