Tri 5 power steering

    Did a search but no luck. 1956 Nomad want power steering. what have you used? I heard there is a new 605 type available anybody have any experance or can you steer me in the right direction. Pun intended.

    A couple of years ago I had a 57 wagon with the 605 box. It was in it when I bought it.
    I loved it, had a quicker ratio and handled great.

    My current 56 nine p***enger wagon has the factory ps off the generator. It works but this fall its getting a drivetrain transplant and I will go with the 605 box.

    my 57 is running a 605 style box. cant remember who i got it from now. there are a couple models out there, some run a modified 605 box with a tri5 end half on it, mine is a complete new box using 605 internals, bolts up just like a stock tri5 box

    Thanks Gerahead that's the box i'm looking for. Any body have any idea where to get it?

    its the 500 box. try a placed called CPP, cl***ic performance products.
