I would be shocked to find that any company ever made them. Looks like it's time for you to learn how to build headers. It's not rocket surgery.

Nobody makes them for any application. Some times you just have to bite the bullet. If you don't have the experience in gas welding and fitment of tubes you will wind up spending more money than a set would cost.

You can,t build them for that.

Just some sage advice from some one who has done it.

Take a look at drag boat headers for Olds. they way the come out and up
may work for you with a little work. That is one of ways I was looking, but
going to check into BBC headers also.

    hope that helps...

If your engine is a 68 it is a 455 not a 425 as 67 was the last year olds put the 425 in there cars.

I made mine from a set of big block Chevy Basset boat headers and a set of car header flanges The primaries tubes are 2 1/4" x and the collectors are 4", a bit on the large side but look cool on a gasser. I'll Post some pics tomorrow.

    Pics of my headers

  11. This is what I'd recommend as well...

I couldn't find anything I liked or that would fit so after 14 hours my friend and I whittled these out in Stainless Steel!

I really like how Spikeshotrods headers turned out!!!

Or you can do what Mike from BCR did and get a header flange from Sanderson and build your own car!

I didn't need to cut any extra 90's, I used all of the drop from the boat headers, just cut and rotated tubing till it all lined up with the header flanges.

  14. Small Block Chevy might be a better place to start considering the port configuration is closer than BBC would be. Just a thought.

I helped a guy build a tube chassis Olds a few years ago. We used big tube smallblock Chevy headers & bought Olds 455 flanged from Hedman. Oldsmobiles have siamesed (sp) center cylinders like a smallblock

Check out "2Loose" on the Hawaii HAMBer site. He put a blown Olds in a '55 Chevy Gasser and has some good pics of how he modified some BBC fenderwell headers. Cool build all the way thru.

SBC will have to small a tube to let that olds breath through .
Olds headers at swap meets usually go cheap to start with . . Even the SB Olds has the same flange pattern so that makes it even easier.
You could check with Dave Smith and see if they have anything funky laying around

  18. Mike from Vendetta auto fab cut my flanges out of Stainless however since his passing I don't know if the shop is still operating...

i know this is an old thread but i just made a set of fenderwells for my 455 olds powered 47willys gasser pu.chopped up a set of flowtechs and added some combo bends from speedway motors.1st time at doing anything like this but i built the entire truck,so not afraid to at least try.jerry.sweet@q.com for pics if you want them 1 5/8 were stock from flowtech.enhances torque!smallblock chevys work best or buy the flanges and build a custom set.i just cut enough tube to leave a small stub and used u bends for my frame uprights and j bends for the downtubes.alot of work but they look and work great
