When I change my wheels from the 70's (or 80's??) Lincoln Town Car wheels it's running right now, I want a set that fits the look, and it will probably be the last change I make.... can you guys show me pics wheel choices on early 60's cars? I've seen a few... can't afford Astros, I'm not going the WWW route (but would like to see some if the wheels fit).

Here's what I'm running now... it's a photoshop pic (I was pre-planning the paint scheme)

Had a friend who had a neat 61 Ford Starliner with American 5 spokes.....

Man I lusted after that Ford. It was 390, 401 HP and a 3speed with O/D.

His 61 was Black and with those 5 spokes......Man, what a ride.

I had a 62 Galaxie. It had early Chrysler Van steel wheels with hub caps. I dug em. I would just runa some sort of steel wheel since you are on a budget, maybe chromies.

  7. My Fairlane just has black, stock steelies:D. For early '60s go with chrome reverse, Radirs or just simple steel wheels, depending on what style of car your doing.

  11. i had to go the cheap way on the fairlane i had in high school. i used baby moons with wide trim rings. it sort of looked like i had chrome wheels. i'd say use those chrome smoothies that american sells. nice wheels for a small price.
