New led sled driver

I'm new to the site I have a 49 Lincoln drivable project and a 35 Ford truck roadster project .

Can any one tell me what rear is used in the 49 Lincoln ?
My sled has a 100% stock drive train with the big old337 Flaty.
I ask because I'm only able to get 50mph at 2800 rpm.
The Lincoln has a 3 on the tree and od.
I was told this car should do 80mph, I would be happy with 65mph
