i have seen the universal wiring kits in teh Streamline catalog but is there a vehicle specific complete wiring harness available for my 47 Chevy coupe with a 235 I-6 with 12 volt conversion and 1 wire alternator???? i've done some wiring but never an entire kit. i'm not intimidated by it, like some people are, but i want to make sure i know everything i'm going to need to know and have everything i'm going to need to have before i start. the car has already been converted to 12 volt but i don't know all what they did to convert it. there is some new(er) wiring under the hood spliced in to the VERY ratty factory cloth wiring. this is why i feel i need to replace the entire harness. it is fraid everywhere. i'm not too concerned about if i replace it with factory type cloth wire (though it does look cool) unless the price difference is very small. it just seems a vehicle specific kit might be simpler but maybe the universal kit will be just as easy. i'd like to hear from people who are VERY experienced with complete wiring jobs and those who might know where i could get the kit i need. thanks Mike
