    aw come on you guys, cutting with a torch isn't going to hurt anything. you could probibly touch it a couple of in. back from the cut and it might be warm

    Nice rides!If you can do some fabricating,you can step the lower aframes.There are several good threads on here about doing it.Add a set of dropped uprights and you will be rolling slammed with a stock feel.
     

  4. I agree with james. DON'T heat 'em with a torch. Even though it's easier than taking them out and cutting them I would stay away from it. Good luck on the car.

    Rad pics and great background. Hope you get it on the road soon.

    Well-haven't got the lowering done, but the dust is gone (actually it was pretty cool leaving it dusty)....hope to get the chrome polished and get it tagged finally. remodeling the house kind of got in the way for the past 9 months...... here's a picture as it sits today....
