I need help finding a primary distributor wire for a dual point '64 Ford 427. Every one I order is a wire that is too long inside the dist and has a grommet at least twice too big to go in the case. Anybody know where to get the correct part? This is a '64 Thunderbolt and they want it right!!
You prpbably don't want to hear this but you could always go to a hardware store and purchase the proper size grommet then shorten the wire. Maybe Mean gene 427 will have a line on one for ya.
Call this guy, he has the worlds largest obsolete supply of Neihof and Echelin electrical stuff there is. Plus he has part numbers. Jack Corley 503-667-1725 He will most likley have the correct wire for ya. The Wizzard
Get all the numbers off the dizzy- if I don't have an extra one, I have a buddy who does excellent dizzy restorations, been rebuilding and restoring For dizzies since '66
Thanks all!! I called Mr. Corley and he had nothing. The numbers are: C3AF-12127-AE CK3 I really appreciate the help. I can rig this, but I really want the correct parts as this is a very nice car!
Call Tim Mason. He will have it. His father Hammer Mason was part of the T-bolt project in 1964 at DST. http://sites.google.com/site/httpwwwdearbornsteeltubingcom/home
