On mine I used 2 rubber gromments, the one that goes in the vc for the air breather fits in the cover well, then inside of that I put the pcv gromet. Its a tight fit but using new soft grommets it worked well for the 5 or 6 years I had the car. Sorry, no pictures. Gene

I did the same thing, and it was a tight fit, but hasn't failed me yet.

thanks guys..I tried the mopar PCV grommet inside a brether grommet..but the fit wasnt tight enough...I tried a few different adhesives but nothing would glue the two grommets together...the pcv grommet from mopar is for a tin cover so its pretty shallow, was the one you guys used pretty deep?

  5. are you trying to use the 70 and older pvc valve? why not just update to the bigger diameter 71 and later pvc

the PCV valve that im using is about 5/8 diameter...i believe mid 70s dodge, the breather grommet is approx 1 1/8" maybe even a little bigger ( Im not there to confirm), I was trying to find a bigger PCV valve, or an inline PCV or a PCV that has the tabs like an oil filler cap but have had no luck.... and Mopar around here anyways is absolutely no help to me...even though they sell the valve covers...they are a real bear to remove now that the engine is in to have a new hole machined in the knockout

Ditto on Mancini, or maybe Summit Racing. There used to be a prepackaged set of valve cover/pcv grommets sold through under the Direct Connection label

who would think Chrysler wouldnt be able to supply something as simple as a grommet for parts that they market and distribute as their own....as much as I am a big fan of the pentastar ..this has been a bit frustrating :)
