1Today we lost another great Hot Rodder,friend,father,grandfather..... He started life around race cars and hot rods and went out the same way. He was born in 1945 and was at the race tracks with his father soon after, his dad raced stock cars and had a 40 ford pickup with a hot flatty in it that was the tow vehicle. Every weekend was spent at the tracks with his dad around 1956 They put the flatty in a stock car snd installed an Olds engine in the truck out of a wrecked 55 Olds. He raced soap box derby cars and quarter midgets growing up. As a young man he started working at the local Dog n Suds and racing a 57 chevy at the local drag strip through the years he has seen and done a lot with old cars, every where he went he knew people and would do anything for a fellow rodder, There was always a joke and a smile if he was around. He left this world today to have piece and comfort.....He left behind a lovely wife of 42 years a daughter, son and three granchildren. A 38 ford that he bought in 1963, The 40 ford truck that his father used to own,a 41ford truck and a 34 roadster....... RIP dad you have been the best friend and dad anyone could ever have, Love you!!!

I am very sorry to hear this, I can't offer much advice except something I was told years ago. "Remember only the good times". Doc.
Very sorry about the loss of your Dad. Sounds like he was a great guy. If a man leaves behind people like you who love and respect him, a person couldn't ask for anything better than that. Remember all the good times. Don
So sorry for your loss. I have just lost my best friend who was also my best man and I have found that remembering the good times (while hard) does help. Keep your chin up. JR
