I can see the resemblance. The original '66 color looks more red or the new color looks more goldy and lighter (wonder what he added to it?). The difference in the sunlight is probably changing the way it looks too.

Either way I'm really a fan of this color after seeing it on a '32.

 

Color is gorgeous...sounds like a lot of work though.
