First timer at the Stray Kat! I have heard about this gathering for years and didn't go. This year I loaded up a couple older than me timers and headed out for Dewey on Saturday morning. Expecting a car show I was blown away when I pulled into Dewey in the dailey driver and saw the true Hot Rods and Customs. For me it was like a step back in time to when people were having fun and enjoy there Hot Rods. I didn't see anyone with a can of wax or a mirror under there car. i have been to hundreds of car gatherings all over this country since the seventies and I would rate the Stray Kat as one of the very top events that I have atended. I came home with a plan to get my AV8 roadster on the road. Keep up the good work and I will see you next year.

Why you should take the blessing of your hotrod. About a dozen of us came up from tahlequah, we all took the blessing with the execption of one guy, he p***ed on it. On the way home one of his trucks killed the points. Got those fixed and he went to pull out on the road, and he broke a axle. So he and his son got in his other truck and the starter took a dump. Always take the blessing......
