Has anyone ever used www.usautomarine.com for shipping a car to Europe? Their quote seemed a little too good to be true. $2500 door to door from San Jose CA to Keratsini, Greece. It would be nice to hear some feedback on them before they pick up my car.

    Thanks.

It definitely sounds too good to be true. I've shipped a number of cars to Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Germany and I've always paid around that much from the East coast! Do your due diligence BEFORE turning the car loose, would be my suggestion.

Let us know how it works out, cause I'd LOVE to find another quality source

  3. thats not that cheap really, but you didnt say if that included duty/import fees etc. It really doesn't matter if shipping from east or west cost. I've shipped alot containers with cars to Norway and sometimes I would get cheaper quotes coming from CA than from Houston...But I have not used that company personally, I usually do whole 40ft containers. I usually pay $4-5000 for a 4ft container to Bergen, which is expensive to ship to.

  4. We payed $5k for a 40' door to door when we moved back to Sweden from NJ in 2006 and in 2010 we payed $4600 for a high cube from the shipper in PA to my door, without harbor fees and ground transport in Sweden.

That does sound cheap. Is that price for the car to ride in the boat or were they just going to drag it behind with a long chain??

thats a hell of a deal, I work doing car shipping and haven't heard of this co. I like the way their ctc page doesn't list an address just a toll free number..... who knows they might be the real deal.

    I wouldn't use RO/RO at all, only a 20' or 40' box.

i used Schumacher Cargo Logistics 550 W. 135th Street, Gardena, CA 90248 Tel: 562 408 6677 x 226 - Fax: 562 408 6636. when i shipped my car to england it was $1,600 and about $300 in fees at the port. so the price seems close enought.

One car shipping from Long Beach to Finland is 1600-1800usd (1200-1500euro).
I have used only Finnish and Swedish owned shipping companies there, but all are use same container companies,...

Are You sure that You want ship Your car to greece?
their economical situation is worst possible (nearly bankrupt all country).
Hope that Your car is not sold to third before You are going there, I really mean that.
