My tribute to Bonneville .....

    I got this '40 ford in January and I didn't want to build another g***er or restore it. I went to Bonneville last summer so I thought what about a Bonneville racer from the sixties. I know very few '40 fords were actually raced there but that didn't stop me. It's not done yet but here you go.

    It looks really good! You have nailed it , a couple of repop early participant window decals would be a nice addition.

    Don't look much like Bonneville to me. I might by El Mirage. But Jerry Helwig ran a very nice chopped 40 coupe on the salt for years Flames and a flathead. To cool.
